EVE sounds like a fun place. I should check it out.
It is, but it's basically spreadsheets in space. You have to have an appreciation for crunching numbers and disseminating supplies and ships.
Obviously, you have the engagements as well, but the game's set up to discourage any loss of ships--obviously. Maintenance is the primary focus.
Homeworld was always so much better for battles. Damn I miss that game.
