i like dexter. its an enjoyable show. but i find it to be very formulaic. season starts with that year's premise, and every episode until the finale is dexter almost catching the bad guy.
it's hit or miss, each year. i actually sorta liked the colin hanks year; i thought that twist was sorta neato. and deb spotting dexter at the end, then leading to their confrontation a few episodes (the next season?) was pretty sweet.
since then? meh. hannah is hot, but her whole family life switch has been sorta tame. why is she so afraid of all the cops and such? she's a killer! and great at it! why can't she help dexter out some night. and i hated the faux mom, who honestly forgot to mention to her serial killer pal that she had a son who was also sortuva serial killer and, oops! i'm dead. meh.
