Teacher Charged With Having Sex With Student

  • Brighton, NY -- A Brighton woman working as a teacher has been charged with having sex with a 15-year-old male student.

    The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Rachel Santora is charged with second degree criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child.

    The investigation revealed that the incidents occurred over the summer at Santora's Brooklawn Drive residence, where she was tutoring the student while employed by the Rush-Henrietta School District.

    Santora is currently employed with Monroe #1 BOCES.
