My former local news site of choice has adapted this horseshit model wherein 99% of the articles require a paid subscription. If you don't have such a subscription, you can only read filler articles and maybe the death notices. The "restricted" articles are pruned to one line, and as such, there's a multitude of gems such as: Police identify man killed by train Tuesday: The man was killed Tuesday evening after being struck by a Union Pacific train.

It is rather funny how the media quotes Hillary Clinton on the Benghazi investigation, as if she has an objective detached opinion on the subject.

How many republican investigations will this make it now? Let's try for the first REAL investigation. Where House Republican investigators realize that the Obama administration jerked them around, when a watchdog group sued and got un-redacted documents that they wouldn't release to the U.S. House investigators! You also see a difference in how the White House press corps is grilling Jay Carney, at a level you can't just say this is a partisan Fox story. It's not possible to say there's "already been an investigation" until the actual communications that night have been disclosed. Clearly this administration is covering up, clearly they have something to hide. I'll remind you that 30-year reporters for both the New York Times and Washington Post have both called the Obama administration the most secretive and "control freak" administration they've ever dealt with. You can't dismiss these guys as "Fox News" or "right wing".
