And he should know, since as part of his training, he endured waterboarding and everything any Al Qaida prisoner had to endure, to prepare him for what might happen to him if captured. I haven't heard anyone call it this, but it might be more aptly termed "enhanced intimidation" since it is more the threat of the unknown they are subjected to, and not any physical injury or disfigurement.
