If you don't speak a certain language, you shouldn't choose a name from that language for your kid. If you don't speak Cherokee or Apache, then your kid doesn't need to have and Indian name. It's shows just how much of dipshit you are....Don't add punctuation to names. Maybe you want to change the sound of it or whatever. Just don't fucking do it. Naming your kid Jor'Dan makes him seem more like a comic book alien. Jordan. Is that so goddamn hard? Punctuation is for sentences.
Saw a kid named Jah'Mari in traffic court recently.

The iffy ones for me are those who were named after comic book/tv/book characters who are popular at the time. Like that recent one who was named 'Khaleesi.'
The only exception is the kid who was named "Turok," but only because the parents were very upfront about the reason - they were paid by Acclaim to name their kid as the videogame/comic book character as part of a publicity stunt.
...and because "Turok" is also Tagalog word that could either mean "prick" or "penetrate."
