I don’t see how that’s news of the obvious.

Obviously the conservative Republican Trump staffers at the White House are glad to see an Obama-Hillary-loyalist mole like Vindman gone. Particularly one who has deliberately smeared Trump and gone way out of his way paralyze Trump's presidency, as an eager witness in a politically destructive impeachment. It was beautiful to me that two days after impeachment ended, Trump cleaned house.
The Vindman brothers aren't fired, and will simply be re-assigned to some other cushy Pentagon job. But they're out of the White House, and therefore not around to spy on Trump and conspire with the likes of Eric Ciaramella and Adam Schiff.

National Security Advisor O'brien has recently removed about 70 of the 230 NSC staffers at the White House. Including Vindman and his twin brother. That should eliminate a lot of the unprecedented leaking we've seen, by rats with ideological loyalties to the previous Obama administration that appointed them, for precisely that purpose.
