Looking it up, this was previous "Church Committee 1.0", a Senate committee in 1975 to investigate abuses of power by the FBI, CIA, NSA, and IRS, weaponized against U.S. citizens. The very same agencies at the center of abuses of power over the last 12 years of the Obama-Biden era.
