Like Obamacare in 2010, it will result in both the Democrats and Republicans who voted for it being ejected from office in the very next election.
That tells you everything you need to know about how "popular" this spending is. And like Obamacare, the Democrats
knowingly lied about what it will actually cost. Obamacare was fronted to only cost $1 trillion.
In reality it surpassed 2 trillion in just its first 3 years.
The "Infrastructure bill" (of which only about 11% is actually for infrastructure, and the rest is subsidies for companies and NGO's that are allies of the Democrat party, essentially a slush fund for Democrat elections in 2022 and 2024), is fronted at its passing to cost $1.2 trillion. But it is already estimated by those in the know to actually obligate $4 trillion in actual spending, once initiated.
The only plus side is it will get a lot of Democrats ejected from office in the next two elections, as the true facts become fully apparent.
Further, the Democrats deliberately evaded analysis of the Infrastructure bill by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) because Dems knew it would expose the lie of what Democrats told us it would truly cost.
