Having orange albatross hanging around her neck certainly did not help. Republicans did pretty good down ticket considering his 5+ million vote difference flame-out loss to a dementia patient.
That's precisely the point. Ronna McDaniel weakened the GOP by
not supporting Trump. Far from an albatross, Trump is the strongest rallying figure in the Republican party. A high ratio of the Republican candidates who lost in 2016, 2018 and 2020 are the ones who distanced themselves from Trump (as Ronna McDaniel did).
And many of the candidates who won in 2020 say that they won because of Trump, and that it was highly suspicious that Trump boosted their turnout so that they won, but then Trump did not win. As I said, on election night Trump was winning, and then after 3 AM (
*AFTER* all the Republican vote observers were tricked into leaving in multiple states, Democrats counted votes all night with no supervision, and then all of a sudden Biden was getting 96 to 100% of the votes counted during those unsupervised hours, AMAZING how that works ! )
There were hundreds of thousands of ballots where there was only a presidential vote for Biden, and no down-ballot votes for any other candidate. Because the cheating Democrats had to complete the ballots fast, and didn't have time to fill out anything else on the ballot.
You can't explain any of these irregularities, because there is no other explanation than massive orchestrated Democrat cheating, across more than 7 states. But especially in the 7 states that determined the election. Trump was winning all of them till 3 AM election night, when the orgy of cheating began.
