There is an amazing graphic on Reddit which shows that if Trump had turned his head right, the bullet would have taken the back of his skull off. He was exceptionally lucky. But I think you, Americans, are also very lucky. If Trump had been killed, then there would be some well-armed rioters on the streets at the moment.

That's what got me. There were even people I've generally regarded as level headed that went immediately to a conspiracy by Trump/the Trump Campaign. I was floored. I think there are still a lot of answers we don't have, but I really don't understand having to fill in the blanks where those answers don't exist.

The amazing part is how each side can take very circumstantial evidence and paint a whole picture. I fear for my country more from that than from most of what else happened.

The fake bandages were ridiculous, but a large part of the RNC was Debordian spectacle so I can only shrug at this point.
