Certainly not counting on the polls being spot on here but I think they are capturing a surge of support for Harris that Biden had lost. She has started out raising Trump in campaign cash and not an old guy slurring his words so there’s a real chance she can beat him. But as you said, polling hasn’t been all that accurate. 2020 they tried to capture Trump’s support better but still missed by a lot. On a very limited level I’m not seeing the Trump signs out in the country that I did in 2020. That year once you got out of the cities and suburbs around where I live you saw tons of Trump and Pence signs. There’s still one up near where my folks live but I think the owner recently passed away.
