You know who pioneered "trickle down economics", first lowering taxes on businesses to stimulate re-investment of capital to create billions more in new factories, new jobs, and thus creating more revenue to be federally taxed, that significantly grew the economy?
Democrat president John F. Kennedy.
Ronald Reagan, implemented similar policies to stimulate growth in 1981. Reagan first coined the term "trickle-down economics". But it was JFK who first implemented such economic policy, before the Democrat party later went full-on socialist/Bolshevik.
When a Republican president did it, Democrats HAD TO re-brand that economic strategy as evil.
Just like countless other policies that the Democrats previously advocated, that when Trump or some other Republican president pursued that same policy, Democrats suddenly did a 180 and began suddenly propagandizing that proven sane and logical policy, as evil.
A really fun one to watch is video of Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden in speeches over the last 40 years, and really until just very recently, talking about the need to secure the Southern border, and to deport illegal immigrants,, and the need to fully vet immigrants before admitting them, to be safe and not criminals or terrorists or carriers of disease.
Policy that just a few years later, the Democrats now demonize as "racist" or "draconian" or "xenophobic", or "white supremacist".
I fully expect the Trump campaign to run ads saying:
"Chuck Schumer 2025, let me introduce you to Chuck Schumer 2015...."The difference is, DEMOCRATS said these things as only lip service, lying to voters, telling voters what they wanted to hear, just to get re-elected, with no intention of actually enforcing border security. In the case of Obama, just enough deportations to front he was serious about enforcement, but still short of what needed to be done to truly secure the border.
Whereas Trump actually did it, truly securing the Southern border (in both 2017, and now again in less than a month, in 2025.)
As Tom Homan just said in a White House briefing on Trump's 99th day as president, he has been part of border security for over 40 years, and that Trump is the first president of either party to TRULY do what is necessary to fully secure the border and stop illegal immigration.
He cited (among other numbers) that in March 2024 under Biden, Border Guard recorded 144,000 illegal crossings admitted into the U.S. for that month.
And in March 2025 under Trump, from Jan 20th to today, that number went down to 9 admitted.
NINE !
And these were only admitted for humanitarian reasons, because their health was so poor. He stated that he fully expects those numbers to go even further down, to zero.
In only Trump's 9th week as the inaugurated president.
