Now it makes sense!...I think Trump did this on purpose and wanted the liberals to win, because the liberals will further weaken Canada and it's economy, eventually making them more desperate to make a deal with Trump to save themselves. It wouldn't be in Trump's interest for the conservatives to win because they would strengthen the economy in Canada and he'd have less leverage over them to make a better deal for the U.S.

It was done on purpose, the inevitable collapse of Canada will open the floodgates for Conservatives Canadians to flee to the United States. You can expect an additional 800,000 or more Republican voters by 2028 due to the fact that marketable skills and the NAFTA agreement puts them on a 2 year fast track for citizenship.
