On a comic book sequel to the very popular "A Piece of the Action" episode, that seemed to end very well for the Iotian natives on that planet, actually had bad consequences when re-visited about 100 years later by Captain Jean-Luc Picard, in a comic book sequel to that episode.

It appears in STAR TREK UNLIMITED 10, July 1998, in the story “A Piece of Reaction,”
written by Michael A. Martin and Andy Mangels, with art by Ron Randall.
( STAR TREK UNLIMITED was actually pretty limited, with a total of just 10 issues, this story appearing in the very last issue.)

Butt beyond that, it was a good story, and 41 pages long. So even though it was their last issue, they still gave it plenty of story length to fully play out.
