Hegseth was a Colonel in the U.S. Army.
He's a graduate of Harvard.
Prior to VOLUNTEERING to serve in the military, he was earning a huge salary as a Wall Street investor, that he set aside to serve.
He was a field commander in both Iraq and Afghanistan, with years of frontline battlefield experience.
He wrote 2 books on how to reform and re-invigorate the U.S. military.
He served in veerans organizaions, further understanding the needs of combat veterans.
His experience as both an anchor on Fox News and in other news media positions, he further understands the news media and how to cut through their liberal propaganda and information warfare.

As a result of his appointment as Defense secretary, Hegseth as SO UNQUALIFIED THAT... enlistment ( the U.S. military previously unable to recruit enough soldiers annually to meet quotas needed, every years, for more than 10 years) has INSTANTLY met quotas in less than 3 months, with recruitment at the highest levels in 40 years.


Problem fixed, in less han 3 months, and rapidly implementing other long-needed armed services reforms.

As far as "not qualified", I hold up as case example the entire 4 years of Hegseth's predecessor Lloyd Austin, that manifests 4 years of Austin's complete incompetence.

As is made clear in the opening summary statement in this House armed services committee hearing. The complete collapse of Afghanisan, the Chinese weather balloon that crossed the entire U.S.photographing our nuclear missile bases completely without interception or retaliation.
And amid an Iranian attack on U.S. overseas bases in Syria and Iraq, Lloyd Ausin was AWOL, receiving surgery and unconscious for several days, and never bothered to notify anyone, or to arrange for someone else to oversee defense security of the country or of U.S. overseas bases. And his assistant defense secretary was sunning herself on a beach in he Caribbeal, ALSO completely unavailable for defense of the country.

THAT is how unserious the Democrat-Bolshevik party is about national security.
And in a sane administration, Lloyd Austin would have been fired and replaced immediately.

I wish I could find and post Sen. Ted Cruz's confirmation hearing questions of Lloyd Austin from 2021, that manifested Austin's lack of understanding of U.S. military command structure, Austin's lack of combat experience at a lower frontline soldier level or lower officer level, Austin's lack of combat experience at a general-rank level. At the time he was nominated by Biden in 2021, Lloyd Austin was a lobbyist, and had to be given a special waiver to be permitted to go straight from lobbyist to a White House cabinet position.
Many have argued he was only nominated by Biden for his skin color.
Just like the incompetent Vice President Kamala Harris was picked only for her skin color.
And just like the incompetent Supreme Court nominee Kitanji Brown Jackson, who can't even answer the question "What is a woman?"

The fact that whiskey Pete’s first instinct was to bald face lie about it on camera like a shrill little boy caught red handed tells you he has no business being in that position. I think that call, where the most ultra-left of all ultra-Left reporters being programmed into the group phone call, was a set-up by some holdover Democrat zealot in Hegseth's office.
It stinks to high heaven that THIS particular reporter --the same The Atlantic reporter who created the false narrative that Trump called veterans "suckers and losers" for dying in combat during Trump's Normandy commemorative ceremony visit--- is the one who was punched into Hegseth's group phone call. Someone Hegseth had not ever spoken to before, who had never been part of Hegseth's defense group calls before, in a group-chat system THAT WAS SET UP by the preceding Biden administration. Lots of people in the preceding Democrat regime who still had access to the same codes, who could have included that particular reporter, to deliberately create a fake scandal for Hegseth, not even 2 months after he was made Defense Secretary.

Just like Democrat/deep state operative James Comey, as the corrupt Trump-hating FBI director, snuck two agents in to interview Michael Flynn in January 2017, breaking known White House protocol and not going though the White House chief of staff, and not giving Flynn legal counsel during the interview, because its precise purpose was to set a perjury trap for Flynn and get him removed from office using the recorded interview, where these agents had previously recorded Flynn's previous phone conversation with the Russian ambassador, where they already knew the answer to every question they asked Flynn, and its ONLY PURPOSE was to trick Flynn into a perjury trap, of not disclosing classified information these two agents already knew.
When in a recent previous interview of Hillary Rodent Clinton, SHE was given her own attorney to advise her during her FBI interview.
And against FBI protocol, HER interview was NOT recorded, precisely so perjury could never be criminally charged by the FBI. So unlike and opposite their Flynn interview.

Gee, why would the FBI do this to Flynn, and then almost simulaneously months before do the opposite, to protect Hillary Clinton from charges, and clear her to run for president in 2016 ?

Just like the FBI set up and went after Republican senator Ted Stevens, to damage him right before an election, and get a Democrat elected to his seat.

Just like the FBI went after Scooter Libby and prosecuted him for charges he is provably innocent of, just to smear the Bush administration and create a Democrat narrative of "Republican culture of corruption" ahead of the 2006 and 2008 elections.

So setting up Hegseth follows a long pattern of corrupt Democrats in federal agencies setting up fake scandals to damage and remove Republicans who are actually patriotic and loyal to the country, who if they were NOT removed by these manufactured scandals would interfere with Democrat-Bolshevik corrupt globalist/deep state plans for the controlled demolition and managed decline of the United States.

This coordinated an attack on Hegseh, from multiple fronts, reeks of a malicious plot to remove Hegseth any way they can. Bu it's over a month later now, and if there were any actual substance to it, Hegseth would have been removed.

I don’t think you actually refuted that Hegseth lied about the Signal chats WB. Republicans apparently don’t care how classified information is sloppily handled if it’s their people mishandling it. Duckworth is correct that this could have gotten pilots killed. The fact that Hegseth just blatantly lied about it with no repercussions shows us his unfitness and how corrupt this administration is.

Hegseth was set up. He had never previously spoken with unhinged leftist liar Jeffrey Goldberg, Hegseth did not even have Goldberg's phone number in his cel phone.
So how did Goldberg get programmed into the call?

Because SOMEONE ELSE, BY DESIGN, sabotaged and set up Hegseth, someone from the prior Biden administration WHO CREATED that conference call system, who still had he codes. As I just said in my above post. And it follows a Democrat-Bolshevik vicious deep-state pattern of how Republicans are consistently set up.

What it comes down to is, he Left desperately wants to remove and destroy Hegseth, because he is too effective a his job, in actually making substantial. reforms ha sregthen ou sovereignty and undermine the Democrat-Bolshevik push toward an authoritarian Marxist-socialist Democrat-controlled one-party state.
Jus like Michael Flynn posed a threat to the Democra-Bolshevik system.
Just like Trump himself does.

And I could name hundreds of others targeted by Democrats in federal agencies, falsely accused, falsely prosecuted, falsely imprisoned.

Making crazy accusations of it being a set up with zero proof doesn’t address that Hegseth when asked about the signal chats bald face lied about it. He and the others were mishandling classified information. Even if you want to believe it was somehow a set up, Hegseth and the others chose to use the ap and discuss classified information. Hegseth chose to lie about his actions. Hegseth is a liar.
