SEN JOHN KENNEDY TORCHES U PENN LAW PROFESSOR OVER HER COMMENTS CALLING U S SUPREME COURT JUSTICES SHE DISAGREES WITH "EVIL"
“You’re an officer of the court. And you’re here advising us to be respectful of federal judges. And yet, you say there are evil members of the United States Supreme Court?"

During a Senate hearing meant to promote respect for the judicial process, Kennedy confronted left-wing legal commentator and professor Kate Shaw over her inflammatory remarks about the U.S. Supreme Court, specifically, her claim that some justices are “evil.”

In a video posted by Kennedy’s office on Twitter, his staff edited in a clip from Shaw’s April 22, 2024, podcast. In it, Shaw refers to some of the Court’s justices as “evil colleagues” of Justice Elena Kagan while discussing the majority opinion in Muldrow v. City of St. Louis.

This is an Ivy League university professor (University of Pennsylvania) Constitutional lawyer, lecturing the country in a Senate hearing on civility and respect for judicial decisions (clearly ONLY REPUBLICANS, by her and the Democrat Senators' account who invited her, need to be lectured on civility) .
And yet... she herself calls any U S Supreme Court justice who doesn't rule in line with Justice Elena Kagan as "evil".

That is some major uncivility, by a law professor at one of the most prestigious law schools in the country.
THIS is a person who educates (indocrinates?) thousands of the most elite graduates of the legal profession. And then calls anyone "evil" who doesn't agree with her subjective legal/political point of view.

And then pompously lectures others about civility and respecting the rule of law, even as she herself UNDERMINES the rule of law, and any judge who doesn't rule in line with her politics.

AND THEN she DENIES she made these comments, even though they were publicly made on her own podcast, and are easily verifiable, right down to the date and podcast where she said them.
But with a liar's smile, she tries to say in Senate hearings she never said that, or was misquoted, or was transcribed wrong, even though her saying so is obviously and verifiably false, by her own podcasted words.

BUSTED !

Senator Kennedy made the point well. Though he actually undemined and distracted from his own well-made case, by adding (Valley girl-like) "Gag me with a spoon.", that many seem o focus on.
