. The facts are not fully in yet, but the guy looks to me like a Leftist radical Democrat, who is attacking Democrats who dissented and voted against Tim Walz's policy in Minnesota, and THAT is the reason he went after these Democrats. I think it is likely the shooter is just pure nuts, along the lines of Jared Loughner or the Aurora Colorado movie theater shooter. Or the shooter at the Washington DC Congressional baseball game a few years ago. All Democrats (the Congressional baseball game shooter, Hodgekinson, was a Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer.) But ultimately in all three cases, just pure nuts. But pumped up by Democrat rhetoric. Or Luigi Mangione, another Leftist who pointlessly for ideological reasons shot the CEO of United Health Care, and left 2 young children without a dad. If there was ANYTHING to identify the current Minnesota shooter as a Republican, it would have been instantly released to the news media. But like so many liberal shooters, it's been a few days now, and because the shooter's media posts DON'T point to a "right wing" ideology on the part of the shooter, blue city police are not disclosing the shooter's posts and messages, and will hide those posts as long as possible, maybe forever. Because it doesn't fit their narrative. Just like the Nashville transgender woman who shot up a private Christian school a year or two ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Nashville_school_shooting The trannie's diatribe manifesto buried forever in a vault somewhere by Democrat police and city officials. Because her journal manifests a hatred and rage against Christians, and transgender identity motivated the crime. So those posts will NEVER be released, they don't fi the Left's desired narrative. But if it were a conservative who did the shooting, their manifesto and online posts would be released in the first hour !

The assassin was an evangelical, registered republican who voted for Trump who had a hit list of democrats that included Waltz. GOP influencers ignored those facts and ran with conspiracy theories about Hortman being targeted because of one vote. Never mind the other elected democrat and wife he tried to murder or all the other democrats on the hit list. Some Republican officials have been shameful with their reaction to this btw like Mike Lee who made jokes about it while pushing lies. He’s since deleted his posts but what an awful and evil thing to do.

. What about the shooter having hundreds of "No Kings" rally fliers in his car? Police said the night of the shooting, this guy surveiled the homes of four of his targets, and actually made attacks on two homes. Regarding Senator Mike Lee's remarks about the shootings, they were pretty tame, remarking how Democrats consistently resort to violence when they don't get their way. The first post was captioned "This is what happens When Marxists don't get their way" and the second says "Nightmare on Waltz street," seemingly blaming Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz for the shootings Very mild, relative to how Democrats over the last 20 years consistently wish Republican leaders like Trump to be dead. And when Republicans actually die or are murdered, often at the hands of leftists as I detailed examples of above, Democrats gleefully celebrate their deaths, and call it "a good start", openly calling for more Republicans to be killed. So spare me the sanctimony. No one on the Republican side is celebrating or endorsing these attacks, or attacks on other Democrats. As I said, these are Democrats who recently opposed Democrat legislation, so I don't see the motive for a Republican/conservative to go after them. .

Some Republican officials have been shameful with their reaction to this btw like Mike Lee who made jokes about it while pushing lies. He’s since deleted his posts but what an awful and evil thing to do. Uh.... https://nypost.com/2025/06/17/media...fter-he-jokes-about-trumps-dead-ex-wife/Ex-CNN correspondent Jim Acosta joked in an interview posted Monday about President Donald Trump’s deceased former wife’s burial site and called her an example of an immigrant “doing the jobs that Americans don’t want to do.” I could pull up at least 1,000 similar comments equally vile from the Democrat / Left, that have absolutely no compassion for Republicans/Conservatives, and actually are gleeful about their deaths, and even encourage the murder of more Republicans. Going back to Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Rush Limbaugh, the Congressional baseball game shooting, on and on. Up to and including current polls that show and overwhelming majority of Democrats favor and think it would be "moral" to kill Donald Trump, and only slightly less for the potential assassination of Elon Musk. And not just a few random Democrat crazies, in a recent poll, 48% of self-identified Democrat-Leftists say it would be justified to assassinate Elon Musk. And a further 55% endorse assassinating President TrumpPerfectly okay !! https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2...-support-killing-trump-and-musk-n4938661https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/survey-leftists-murder/2025/04/07/id/1205956/And not just fringe grassroots Democrats or leftist protesters, but those at the very core and top of the Democrat-Bolshevik party. Such as Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Maxine Waters, Cory Booker, Rashida Tlaib, A O-C, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Robert Reich, Jennifer Rubin, Ayanna Presssley, on and on. And I've shown video-clips of them openly inciting violence against Republicans on many occasions here on RKMB. Not just one or a few Democrats, but pretty much the entire Democrat party, and their like-minded brethren in George Orwell's liberal media.

Again, M E M... And when Republicans actually die or are murdered, often at the hands of leftists as I detailed examples of above, Democrats gleefully celebrate their deaths, and call it "a good start", nd aopenly call for more Republicans to be killed. So spare me the sanctimony. No one on the Republican side is celebrating or endorsing these attacks, or attacks on other Democrats. As I said, these are Democrats who recently opposed [Minnesoa state] Democrat legislation, so I don't see the motive for a Republican/conservative to go after them. ... those are Mike Lee's exact quoted comments, and I don't see where they make him a "P O S", or "vile". They were tame, relative to Democrats' CONSISTENT celebrations of death of Republicans over the last 20-plus years, from up and down the heirarchy of the Democrat-Bolshevik party, from Democrat grassroots to the Democrat leadership, they consistently say the most TRULY vile things about Republicans, gleefully celebrate deaths of Republicans, gleefully call murder of Republicans, and call any violence on Republicans "a good start". Now, THAT is truly vile, and endorsing violence. You don't see that on the Republican side. Senator Mike Lee said: "This is what happens when Marxists don't get their way". It is a demonstrable fact that Democrats, riot, loot, intimidate and commit violence when they don't get their way. The current L.A. riots against ICE arrests and orchestrated "No Kings" riots in cities nationwide, with organized dropping of pallettes of bricks on straegic streetcorners near federal buildings and police, and distribution of gas masks and other riot-inciting gear, further make the point. I don't see where that is "extreme" or "vile" for Mike Lee to cite that absolute truth of these facts, his saying so is just accurate. As compared with TRULY P O S Senator Chuck Schumer's comments about Brett Kavanaugh and Samuel Alito, inciting violence against them, that P O S Schumer HAS NEVER APOLOGIZED OR RETRACTED, inciting violence against conservative U S S C justices : "You have reaped he whirlwind, and you will pay the price." Now, THAT is truly "vile". Senator Mike Lee's other comment, that the shootings are "Nightmare on Walz Street" is an acknowledgement that the Minnesota political shootings are awful criminal behavior, a nightmare, but that it has occurred in Minnesota under Walz's governor jurisdiction, and implies that his radical leftist policies, letting an entire Minneapolis police station burn down in the George Floyd riots in 2020, letting FIVE SQUARE MILES OF DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS be burned and looted a few nights later, Governor Walz just sitting on his hands and letting all this happen, letting the riots spread to 600 cities nationwide. Walz's incendiary rhetoric in the last month calling for "fighting in the streets" in resistance and revolution against Trump. And Walz's rhetoric JUST A FEW DAYS AGO about how the Democrat party needs to "get mean" against Trump... ALL seems like rhetoric that could have incited these shootings. And that's not even getting into Tim Walz's love affair with China and Maoism, and endorsing China's brand of violent suppression of all dissenting thought. Or Tim Walz's own wife posting online about how she cheers on the 2020 rioting in Minneapolis, and enjoys the smell of burning tires from the rioting. Comments that Tim Walz has never addressed, never condemned, never dissented from. Add to that, "Nightmare on Walz Street" also is arguably spot-on in another way, that the security camera photos of the killer show a guy who literally looks like the horrific boogey-man killers in the movies Halloween, Friday the 13th, or Nightmare on Elm Street. The shooter literally has the exact look of any of those slasher-film killers. ![[Linked Image from a57.foxnews.com]](https://a57.foxnews.com/static.foxnews.com/foxnews.com/content/uploads/2025/06/720/405/minnesota-lawmaker-shooting-vance-boelter_06.jpg) So... while Mike Lee, a more sensitive man than myself, retracted his remarks and deleted them from social media, I would not have. And Mike Lee was in fact a potential U S supreme Court nominee in Trump's first term, so accomplished and respected he is as a legal scholar. Far from a "P O S".

Yep making vile jokes after a successful assignation attempt is crossing a line that forced Lee to delete them. This only happened because what Lee did was so vile that even less partisan than you republicans are repulsed. He certainly doesn’t have to worry about a democrat unseating him in state wide election in Utah but another less trashy republican or independent certainly could.

when all the rich and powerful folks get together on the weekend, after their day jobs as news anchors and politicians and social media owners and such.... (im assuming, like, seated in adirondack chairs, around a firepit burning money, holding flute glasses with champagne made out of children's souls) i figure they'd have at least one moment of commiseration. like " hey, so, .. they're coming after us now." and maybe trump would giggle while noting he was able to dodge. and the remaining minnesota folks would give a " this guy!" head-shake-and-smirk combo. but in the end, they'd collectively conclude that murder attempts were bad for business. that seems like a solid, low-bar, "let's agree on this" perspective. and maaaaybe someone suggested they draw some attention to, like.... iran, or something. but that's besides the point. the point is stuff has escalated in the last half a dozen years or so. from insurrections, to hammers, to assassination attempts. hell, other countries have had impeachments and martial law threats, too. it's not good for any of them, or any of us. and i'd think reasonable enough to suggest the volume dip to, like, seven outta ten. but that's humble me

. Rare Rob sighting ! Good to have you back.... I'd agree that it's wise whenever possible to lower the political volume, and both sides not go for the jugular every time they can. And I think it's the nature of the very internet forum we're posting these comments on to constantly escalate that volume. But I ask the question: How do we as reasonable people lower the volume with a Democrat-Bolshevik party that makes crystal clear their goal is to not just win elections for their side, but to "destroy the Republican party so completely they can never come back"? (that's an exact quote from Jennifer Rubin, then of the New York Times). How do we as reasonable people on the conservative right deal with a Democrat-socialist Left that wants the "fundamental transformation of America" (Barack Obama, 2008, 5 days before the presidential election). A Democrat-agent cabal that weaponized the FBI and other federal agencies to arrest, intimidate and imprison their political opponents. After FBI faking FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and incoming Trump administration in 2016-2017 , a fake FBI counter-intelligence investigation into "Russia collusion", a House investigation, a Senate investigation, a fake Meuller special investigation. Then when all that didn't work for Democrats, in 2019-2021 a fake CIA-orchestrated "whiistleblower report", and two fake House impeachments of Trump. Then in 2021-2024 the Biden administration and a Democrat-occupied corrupt FBI orchestrated FOUR attempts to maliciously prosecute Donald Trump, to put him in jail for a cumulative 600 years on made-up fake charges, and arbitrarily charged him to pay close to a billion dollars in fines. Charges and fines that arguably no other politician would have the financial resources to withstand and go on to have a second term as president, as Trump did. And when that failed, there were two attempted assassinations of Trump, just two months apart, right before the 2024 election, to further prevent him from becoming president, that appear to have been plotted, or at least enabled, by Democrat-Bolsheviks in the FBI, Secret Service and other federal agencies. And I can't name a single Democrat House, Senate, cabinet advisor, presidential candidate or consultant who isn't totally on board with these Democrat weaponizations to overthrow Trump. If you know of one, JUST ONE, please name them. And JUST TODAY, and pretty much every day, every week, every month, every year for literally 10 years, Democrats make it clear they would impeach Trump again, on any contrived charge, if they had even a one-vote House majority. Impeach, or worse. I've posted polls, that from the grass roots to the very top of the DNC, a majority of Democrats are completely on board with assassinating Trump, and even call it "morally right" when polled. And "morally right" (as polled) to kill Elon Musk as well. How do you have a civil dialogue with these people? Not just a fringe or a majority in the DNC, but by all appearances the entire Democrat party? They are of the same authoritarian mentality as Putin's Russia, Xi Xinping's China, and similar authoritarian regimes. They will promise in speeches to play nice with Republicans, but if given the slightest power, will immediately weaponize federal agencies again, to permanently destroy all political opposition. As I've cited many times, members of the Clinton, Obama and Biden administrations OPENLY QUOTE Lenin, Stalin, Che Gueverra, Hugo Chaves, Castro, Mao and the like, many as I've cited, while holding cabinet positions in the Obama administration (Anita Dunn, Van Jones, Mark Lloyd, Ron Bloom, etc.) Or writing their incendiary calls for authoritarian takeover in the New York Times and Washington Post after leaving the Clinton administration (Robert Reich). And when they weaponize government to go after Donald Trump, and his cabinet officials, and to go after thousands of peaceful January 6th protesters, and after PTA protesters against "woke" indoctrination in local schools, and after peaceful pro-life activists, where each one has been arrested and has to pay at least $400,000 to 700,000 to defend themselves against made-up weaponized fake FBI charges, that is not where it ends. As I've cited repeatedly, they want to set up a Democrat "socialist" one-party system, with a weaponized legal system, with a weaponized FBI, with a weaponized IRS, and even a weoponized federalized election system (titled House Resolution 1, while Democrats had the House majority, making clear its extreme priority as the first thing on their agenda) so that in future elections the federal government, not individual states as has been the case for 250 years, have total control of elections, and the minority party (that'll be Republicans, forever more, if Democrats ever pass HR-1) won't even have the ability to dispute or contest any unfair future election. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/hr1-for-the-people-act-changes-deadlineRPC article, on Democrats' proposed HR-1 bill, chilling free speech and free electionsAs Trump says, it doesn't end with just getting him. Once Democrats eliminate him (the only obstacle to their authoritarian one-party rule, because other Republicans have shown for 20 years they are too timid to oppose the push for Democrat one-party rule) the Democrat-Bolsheviks will then be coming for all of us, for anyone who resists their one-party authoritarian system. Or as Trump recurringly says in his speeches: "They're not coming for me, they're coming for you, and I'm just standing in their way."How do you reason with a Democrat/Left that fanatical, Rob? That filled with hate? That committed to mob rule, violence and revolution? https://www.rkmbs.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1234527#Post1234527https://www.rkmbs.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1233458&page=4With Democrats who are openly pushing for a one-party authoritarian system, where only they are allowed to voice an opinion, and any dissenting opinion is shut down or intimidated into silence? If I posted this same opinion (and I have) on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or other forums, my account would be closed or shadow-banned to silence me. They even close the accounts of Republican Senators, House members, Trump cabinet officials, and Trump himself !! Absolute fact. Rep. Jim Jordan, Rep. Devin Nunes, Rep Mark Meadows, Rep. Ron DeSantis, and pretty much every Republican who ever belonged to either the former Tea Party, or the current Freedom Caucus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_CaucusIn the last week, Vice President Vance had his new Bluesky account closed the first day he started posting. https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/jd-vance-bluesky-social-media/2025/06/18/id/1215579/I realize to some my rhetoric might seem "high volume", but it is also absolute fact, and it needs to be said. That the Democrat/Left is dangerous, to the point that they want to overthrow our Constitutional government to have absolute one-party power, and any attempt to "lower the volume" and not plainly say that, is just leverage for them to further abuse and consolidate toward absolute auhoritarian one-party power over the nation. Look at recent political events in Argentina, Brazil, Hungary and Romania, to see what they would like to do to Trump, and to all of us. That is just a fact. https://www.foxnews.com/world/romania-blocks-frontrunner-from-postponed-presidential-racehttps://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2024/11/21/brazil-bolsonaro-coup/76485263007/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javier_Milei (typical Leftist-partisan Wikipedia, but does acknowledge Milei's achievements) https://thepreamble.com/p/who-is-viktor-orban-and-why-does (Typical Leftis-partisan article, but does acknowledge Orban's achievements, while portraying him as a fascist threat) ![[Linked Image from media.townhall.com]](https://media.townhall.com/cdn/hodl/cartoons/alg061825dAPR-800x0.jpg)

. My point being, the calls for violence are not from both sides, the calls for violent revolution and for killing politicians are not from people escalating the rhetoric on "both sides". It is ONE SIDE tha is consistently escalating with that kind of rhetoric. And we all know which side that is. The Democrat/Left. From grassroots Democrats, to Bernie Sanders campaign volunteers, to Democrat House and Senate members, to Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Cory Booker, A O-C, Rashida Tlaib, at the very top of the Democrat food chain. Former attorney general "when hey go low we kick 'em" Eric Holder. Under Obama, the chief law enforecement officer ! BLM, Anifa, the anti-ICE movement, and "No Kings" movement, all Soros-funded astro-turfed protests/riots orchestrated across cities nationwide, with trucks in city afer city dropping off palettes of bricks close to federal buildings, to further foment and escalate violence of hese organized protests. Just as they did in the 2020 George Floyd riots nationwide. On and on. Up and down the Democrat heirarchy, it is THEY, not conservative Republicans, who are constantly escalating the rhetoric, since at least 2000. It is not a vague "coarsening of the culture", it is not "both sides", it is ONE SIDE, the DEMOCRAT/LEFT SIDE that is constantly escalating with the most incendiary rhetoric, and openly calling for violence, and the death of political leaders they don't like. And if someone on the conservative/Republican side like Senator Mike Lee dares to point that out, even in a humorous context, he is labelled by the M E M's of the world as "vile" and a "P O S". I would argue that Mike Lee would be even more liked, and re-elected by an even greater margin in his next election, if he didn't retract and take down his comments. But he chose to tone down the rhetoric, even though he gains nothing from it. Mile Lee stood down. The Democrat-Bolsheviks, carrying effigy severed heads and guillotines invoking the French Revolution and Robespierre's reign of terror, never will. But yeah, Mike Lee is "vile". Just pointing out also: There is no evidence to date, NONE, that this shooter was motivated to shoot these people by "right wing" rhetoric, violent or otherwise. The violent rhetoric is virtually all on the Democrat side. Certainly the worst of it.

I'd agree that it's wise whenever possible to lower the political volume, and both sides not go for the jugular every time they can. well, great! ???? we did it, everyone! problem solved. But I ask the question: How do we as reasonable people lower the volume with a Democrat-Bolshevik party that makes crystal clear the... Aww, David, come on, man. the very next paragraph...! ???? The volume is ours, dear sir. We can start here. I assume your examples are real - haven't checked, but let’s grant benefit of the doubt. Still, for every one you cite, a channel flip or Google search will show the mirror: a different name, same extremism, just flipped politically. For every liberal who calls the orange gameshow host a dictator, there’s a conservative convinced the brown president was a foreign terrorist. We're a mirror society - extremes on all sides, everyone convinced the other side is the problem. the challenge is that the temp rises everywhere. it leaps from spirited debate to assault on the capital quickly. and just as quickly to attacks in the driveway, or school board meetings. and as "it was the other guy" discourse begins, we miss any moment of accountability that could help. its just libs blaming conservatives, and conservatives blaming libs. and we're talkin about the barest of baseline agreements. "Don't shoot at presidents." Check! Next? "Don't assault political figures." With a dash of "or their spouses." Sprinkle in: "Don't attack voters." "Don't cheer on assassination attempts." "Maybe don’t make jokes about successful attacks for a month." (unsuccessful ones get a week) get a few of these baselines together, and now you've gotta stew goin baby! the missing magic; don’t just police everyone else. agree to the rule, then hold your own to it. that’s what makes arguments invincible - not the outrage, but the integrity. (Sorta-related: if you want to see liberals short-circuit, show them clips of the recent Cruz/Carlson chat — conservatives calling each other out. Minds will be blown.) if we can start cleaning that up, the temperature dips. conflicts and varying points of view still there, but that's good! healthy friciton.

(Sorta-related: if you want to see liberals short-circuit, show them clips of the recent Cruz/Carlson chat — conservatives calling each other out. Minds will be blown.) The background is Tucker is a Putin shill (Iran provides drones to Russia) and Cruz has donors who support Israel. With politics in this shithole country, it always boils down to money. None of the scumbags that you see in the media or Washington care about their "causes", just staying in power and keeping the grift alive.

aye true. but it almost NEVER happens in same-side callouts. at least not this public.
in particular, as trump held power, lost power, and regained power, the conservative side has seemingly stuck together in the “tow the collective line” realm (for, against, and for again prez 45 and 47 — which is as impressive as it is dangerous, or as dangerous as it is impressive)
the Cruz/tucker videos were hard to watch for liberals, because liberals likely (had to) agree with one of the sides in that standoff …and they’re two of the least likable individuals in the political realm. it made for a buncha funny tiktok clips, watching traditionally liberal podcasters watch the debate, and the admit a “oh shit. Tucker made a good point” moment.

It's WWE programming, Rob. Just another diversion from the failing economy, the environment, and a million other topics that truly effect your life.
Do you really believe anything with change because of that "argument"?
Cucker showed the Putin dickriders that he's loyal to Putin, Cruz made his lobbyists happy.
Neither of those two assholes will change policy. They're still Republican Party hacks, the end of the interview was both of them agreeing with each other about how evil "the libs" are.

Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark’s funeral was yesterday. Melissa wasn’t a firebrand and did her job representing her constituents. It goes without saying they didn’t deserve this.

Biden and Harris attended the funeral, scumbag Trump didn't. Too busy golfing. https://www.thedailybeast.com/donald-trump-ignores-funeral-service-for-victims-of-maga-madman/Although Trump did not mention the funeral service on social media, he did post several times on Saturday, touting low gas prices and his “big, beautiful” bill.
According to Fox News, Trump spent the morning golfing with Republican senators Eric Schmitt, Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, and CIA director John Ratcliffe. Tells a lot about the character of those individuals.

Well going to those funerals while attacking democrats the way he does I think it’s probably a good thing he skipped it. It’s sad though that we’re well past even expecting him to be decent. And Lee took down his posts with no apology. Admitting it was wrong is apparently to high a bar.
