when all the rich and powerful folks get together on the weekend, after their day jobs as news anchors and politicians and social media owners and such....
(im assuming, like, seated in adirondack chairs, around a firepit burning money, holding flute glasses with champagne made out of children's souls)
i figure they'd have at least
one moment of commiseration. like "
hey, so, .. they're coming after us now."
and maybe trump would giggle while noting he was able to dodge. and the remaining minnesota folks would give a "
this guy!" head-shake-and-smirk combo. but in the end, they'd collectively conclude that murder attempts were bad for business. that seems like a solid, low-bar, "let's agree on this" perspective.
and maaaaybe someone suggested they draw some attention to, like.... iran, or something. but that's besides the point.
the point is stuff has escalated in the last half a dozen years or so. from insurrections, to hammers, to assassination attempts. hell, other countries have had impeachments and martial law threats, too. it's not good for any of them, or any of us. and i'd think reasonable enough to suggest the volume dip to, like,
seven outta ten.
but that's humble me
