I'd agree that it's wise whenever possible to lower the political volume, and both sides not go for the jugular every time they can.
And I think it's the nature of the very internet forum we're posting these comments on to constantly escalate that volume.

But I ask the question: How do we as reasonable people lower the volume with a Democrat-Bolshevik party that makes crystal clear their goal is to not just win elections for their side, but to "destroy the Republican party so completely they can never come back"?
(that's an exact quote from Jennifer Rubin, then of the New York Times).

How do we as reasonable people on the conservative right deal with a Democrat-socialist Left that wants the "fundamental transformation of America"
(Barack Obama, 2008, 5 days before the presidential election).

A Democrat-agent cabal that weaponized the FBI and other federal agencies to arrest, intimidate and imprison their political opponents.
After FBI faking FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and incoming Trump administration in 2016-2017 , a fake FBI counter-intelligence investigation into "Russia collusion", a House investigation, a Senate investigation, a fake Meuller special investigation. Then when all that didn't work for Democrats, in 2019-2021 a fake CIA-orchestrated "whiistleblower report", and two fake House impeachments of Trump.
Then in 2021-2024 the Biden administration and a Democrat-occupied corrupt FBI orchestrated FOUR attempts to maliciously prosecute Donald Trump, to put him in jail for a cumulative 600 years on made-up fake charges, and arbitrarily charged him to pay close to a billion dollars in fines. Charges and fines that arguably no other politician would have the financial resources to withstand and go on to have a second term as president, as Trump did.

And when that failed, there were two attempted assassinations of Trump, just two months apart, right before the 2024 election, to further prevent him from becoming president, that appear to have been plotted, or at least enabled, by Democrat-Bolsheviks in the FBI, Secret Service and other federal agencies.

And I can't name a single Democrat House, Senate, cabinet advisor, presidential candidate or consultant who isn't totally on board with these Democrat weaponizations to overthrow Trump.
If you know of one, JUST ONE, please name them.

And JUST TODAY, and pretty much every day, every week, every month, every year for literally 10 years, Democrats make it clear they would impeach Trump again, on any contrived charge, if they had even a one-vote House majority.
Impeach, or worse. I've posted polls, that from the grass roots to the very top of the DNC, a majority of Democrats are completely on board with assassinating Trump, and even call it "morally right" when polled.
And "morally right" (as polled) to kill Elon Musk as well.

How do you have a civil dialogue with these people? Not just a fringe or a majority in the DNC, but by all appearances the entire Democrat party?
They are of the same authoritarian mentality as Putin's Russia, Xi Xinping's China, and similar authoritarian regimes. They will promise in speeches to play nice with Republicans, but if given the slightest power, will immediately weaponize federal agencies again, to permanently destroy all political opposition.
As I've cited many times, members of the Clinton, Obama and Biden administrations OPENLY QUOTE Lenin, Stalin, Che Gueverra, Hugo Chaves, Castro, Mao and the like, many as I've cited, while holding cabinet positions in the Obama administration (Anita Dunn, Van Jones, Mark Lloyd, Ron Bloom, etc.)
Or writing their incendiary calls for authoritarian takeover in the New York Times and Washington Post after leaving the Clinton administration (Robert Reich).

And when they weaponize government to go after Donald Trump, and his cabinet officials, and to go after thousands of peaceful January 6th protesters, and after PTA protesters against "woke" indoctrination in local schools, and after peaceful pro-life activists, where each one has been arrested and has to pay at least $400,000 to 700,000 to defend themselves against made-up weaponized fake FBI charges, that is not where it ends.

As I've cited repeatedly, they want to set up a Democrat "socialist" one-party system, with a weaponized legal system, with a weaponized FBI, with a weaponized IRS, and even a weoponized federalized election system (titled House Resolution 1, while Democrats had the House majority, making clear its extreme priority as the first thing on their agenda) so that in future elections the federal government, not individual states as has been the case for 250 years, have total control of elections, and the minority party (that'll be Republicans, forever more, if Democrats ever pass HR-1) won't even have the ability to dispute or contest any unfair future election.

As Trump says, it doesn't end with just getting him. Once Democrats eliminate him (the only obstacle to their authoritarian one-party rule, because other Republicans have shown for 20 years they are too timid to oppose the push for Democrat one-party rule) the Democrat-Bolsheviks will then be coming for all of us, for anyone who resists their one-party authoritarian system.
Or as Trump recurringly says in his speeches: "They're not coming for me, they're coming for you, and I'm just standing in their way."

With Democrats who are openly pushing for a one-party authoritarian system, where only they are allowed to voice an opinion, and any dissenting opinion is shut down or intimidated into silence?
If I posted this same opinion (and I have) on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or other forums, my account would be closed or shadow-banned to silence me.

I realize to some my rhetoric might seem "high volume", but it is also absolute fact, and it needs to be said.
That the Democrat/Left is dangerous, to the point that they want to overthrow our Constitutional government to have absolute one-party power, and any attempt to "lower the volume" and not plainly say that, is just leverage for them to further abuse and consolidate toward absolute auhoritarian one-party power over the nation.
Look at recent political events in Argentina, Brazil, Hungary and Romania, to see what they would like to do to Trump, and to all of us. That is just a fact.
