And of course echoed by the news anchors on CNN and MSNBC.

LIBERALS BLAME TRUMP BUDGET CUTS FOR TEXAS FLOOD DEATHS


  • Critics of President Donald Trump wasted no time blaming staffing cuts at the National Weather Service (NWS) for the widespread death and destruction caused by the floods in Texas, a reaction the White House called "shameful and disgusting."

    At least 59 people, including 21 children, have been confirmed dead from the flash floods along the Guadalupe River that began Friday. Eleven children and one counselor remain missing from a girls' summer camp near the river, which flooded due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Barry. That storm made landfall over Mexico, but triggered massive unexpected thunderstorms over parts of Texas.

    "It only took 9 days for Trump's cuts to the [National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration] to kill dozens of children in Texas when Tropical Storm Barry landed this week," Grant Stern, the executive editor of Occupy Democrats, wrote on X.


    "The people in Texas voted for government services controlled by Donald Trump and Greg Abbott," added Ron Filipkowski, former federal prosecutor and the editor-in-chief of MediasTouchNews. "That is exactly what they (sic) getting."



    "What has happened to the girls at Camp Mystic is EXACTLY what one of the country's best meteorologists, John Morales, warned would happen," added Rachel Bitecofer, assistant director at Christopher Newport University's Wason Center for Public Policy. "Trump's cuts to the NOAA & NWS have critically impacted storm prediction nationwide."

    Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem held a press conference Saturday, and acknowledged some of the criticisms regarding the nation's flood notification systems, which included concerns that weather forecasts underestimated the amount of rain that ultimately fell.

    Noem noted that the Trump administration is "currently upgrading" the nation's flood notification technology, which she described as "ancient."

    When the [weather] system came over the area, it stalled," Noem said during the press conference. "It was much more water, much like [what] we experienced during [Hurricane] Harvey, with the same type of system that was unpredictable in the way that it reacted in the way that it stopped right here and dumped unprecedented amounts of rain that caused a flooding event like this."


    Tom Fahy, legislative director for the National Weather Service Employees Organization, told NBC News that weather forecasting offices were adequately staffed, and "they issued timely forecasts and warnings leading up to the storm," but he added that unfilled leadership positions were "clearly a concern."

    "All I'll say is this. The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Kerr County more than 12 hours ahead of the catastrophic flood. A flash flood warning was issued for Hunt & Ingram 3 HOURS before the Guadalupe started to climb," said Texas-based meteorologist Avery Tomasco. "They did their job and they did it well."

    The same sentiment was echoed by other meteorological experts as well.

    But, still, news of the advanced warnings has not stopped people from using the catastrophe to criticize the Trump administration.

    "The reason Trump defunded the National Weather Service leading to the deaths of all those girls in the Texas flood is because PROJECT 2025 THOUGHT WEATHER PREDICTION SCIENCE WAS TIED TO EVIDENCE OF CLIMATE CHANGE," musician Mikel Jollett wrote on X.

    Isaiah Martin, a Democratic candidate for Texas's 18th Congressional District, called for an immediate congressional investigation into "the Republican DOGE cuts to NOAA and the National Weather Service."



Despite all these leftist fanatics jabbing in the long knives to try and blame Trump, it is acknowledged that warnings were given between up to 12 hours in advance, and at least 3 hours in advance of the flooding. So there was no lack of meteorological warning in advance of the flooding, and the officials on the ground in Texas make clear that there just wasn't time to notify people in the path of the flooding, because it happened so rapidly, in a very isolated area with limited cel phone coverage on the best of days. And because communications were down due to the storm, as the flood was occurring. It happened that fast.

But as vicious infighter Rahm Emmanuel said as chief of staff during the Obama administration he was part of: "Never let a crisis go to waste."
In this case, the chance to slanderously attack Trump, despite the actual facts that prove these allegations are absolutely false, that the Texas deaths had nothing to do with Trump's budget cuts.



There's another quote not included in that article, reported on Newsmax, where one liberal on social media posted that Texas Trump supporters voted for his DOGE policy cuts, and are now getting what they deserve (their own deaths in a flood, and/or the deaths of their children).
This evil Democrat piece of garbage posted this on Facebook/Meta. But not under her usual Dr. Christina B. Propst account, but tried to post it with some degree of anonymity under a long unused old Facebook page she had, under the user-name "Chris Tina" , so people who follow her would not recognize her posting under it.

There is absolutely no way to try and explain and rationalize that away.





And that's consistent for about the last 25 years of Democrat public statements, in so many examples.

One loathesome actress, Wanda Sykes, during the televised 2009 White House Correspondents Dinner wished Rush Limbaugh would die of kidney failure.
Another PBS News Hour panel guest (Nina Totenberg) hoping on air during a show that Dick Cheney would have a family member die of AIDS.

Widespread Democrat glee when Ronald Reagan died.
And again when Margaret Thatcher died.
And Tony Snow.
And when so many other Republican conservatives died.

Widespread "thumbs-ups" on Facebook and Twitter, over 2 million of them, when Donald Trump was announced to have Covid, about 1 month before the Nov 2016 election, and many openly hoped he would die.
Those social media sites had to post notices for users (Democrats) not to post mean things about a man who could potentially die from Covid.

Democrats on social media cheered on the Congressional baseball game shootings, and DEMOCRAT STAFFERS AND POLITICAL ADVISORS called it "a good start" and cheered for EVEN MORE Republicans to be shot.

Senate majority leader (at the time) Chuck Schumer, who ON CAMERA threatened U S Supreme Court conservative justices, naming Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch saying, "You have reaped the whirlwind, and you will pay the price."
Schumer never apologized or retracted those incendiary remarks, even after an activist inspired by him broke in with weapons to kill Brett Kavanaugh.
And not one other Democrat leader, House or Senate, condemned Schumer's remarks or asked to lower either the violence or the rhetoric.

NOT ONE Democrat ever made an effort to lower the fanaticism their consistently incendiary rhetoric has been stoking in Democrats nationwide for the last 9 years since 2915.

MULTIPLE Republican House and Senate offices ransacked and burned, across multiple states.
Multiple Republican candidates attacked.
Republican campaign volunteers and Trump supporters attacked, as I've repeatedly cited and linked, since Trump became a candidate in 2016, it pretty much averages out to at least one attack on Trump supporters every day, for things as frivolous as just wearing a MAGA hat.

They ALL express the same mentality, of taking away conservative Republican children to be raised by HHS appointed leftists (that one from a PBS lawyer videotaped), and almost every one gleefully suggested (video-recorded saying it) putting Republicans in gulags or concentration camps or Soviet-style "re-education camps". Or (Bernie Sanders supporters, again video-recorded saying it) just suggested killing all Republicans, if their guy won.


Or more recently the poll where 55% of Democrats think it would be "morally right" for Trump to be assassinated. And another 48% think it would be right to assassinate Elon Musk. These are not just a few crazies in the Democrat party, this is the consistent evil mindset across pretty much the entire Democrat-Bolshevik party, from the very top, down to the grass roots, over at least 20 years of escalating insane Democrat hatred and craziness.
