What I mean is that Democrats would contine to operate in the same way that makes an opportunis...er, populist like Trump possible in the first place. We're deeply unserious and corrupt as a society. We're only starting to understand just how deep that runs through our systems since we've somehow managed to reelect--by a decisive win in both the popular and electoral vote--a person who should have been unelectable as dog catcher after 1/6/21. Yeah, inflation may have hurt and so did Joe dropping out when he did, but Harris was an idiot and you can see the pendulum swing on "woke" in a growing number of videos on Tik Tok of all places. People just really seem to expect me to give more of a flying fuck than they are willing to give beyond the socio-political posturing. And, tbh, I feel a lot happier having just said, "Fuck it. Let's watch it burn."
