Yeah, that's what I regret most, is the loss of cartoons we loved growing up, that were great, but are deemed somehow unworthy of play on channels like Boom or Cartoon Network.

Like for example many of the Hanna Barberra cartoons, such as Huckleberry Hound, or the Hair Bear Bunch. Or the original Jonny Quest series that I loved for close to 20 years, and never got tired of waching in re-runs.
I bought a complete VHS collection years ago of all the Betty Boop cartoons, I don't know if it was later re-released on DVD or BluRay as well.
I love the animation from the 1930's and 1940's, and a lot of those are non-existent on broadcast tv now, and questionably available on DVD either.

Or the 1970's and 1980's formatted Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour, where in the opening credits they march across the stage singing "On with the show this is it". You can buy collections of the WB cartoons hatt were on the show, but oddly, I would prefer them collected as episodes of the actual show from that period, but they are never offered in that format.

About 15 or 20 years ago, I lucked across DVD collections of Felix the Cat cartoons, and the original Max Fleischer Superman cartoons from the World War II era, many of which have the same "Buy Bonds, beat the Axis" mentality as Golden Age comics. And also picked up some other more random collections of old cartoons.

But yeah, bits and pieces available on DVD collections, but a lost era not available mostly to a new generation. Or really, now for several new generations.
