I know it isn't as sexy as saying these guys did it for political reasons, but it could just be that crazies are going to crazy regardless of political beliefs.

Vance had a hit list of all democrats. All pro choice that included Walz. I don’t think it’s a grey area about it being politically motivated. Is he crazy, sure. And like Kirk’s assassin, Vance doesn’t appear to be part of an extremist group but both I think are political solo acts of political violence.
