I know it isn't as sexy as saying these guys did it for political reasons, but it could just be that crazies are going to crazy regardless of political beliefs.
Also, Wondy, look into the concept of jawboning. I think it'd be something that you'd be interested in.
In a number of high profile ostensibly political murders, yeah, I could go along with the explanation that they're just pure crazy and politics doesn't actually figure into it.
And this Vance Boetler guy sure fits that profile. He says Tim Walz ordered him on that killing spree. But those could just be he voices in his head. So yeah, that's a possibiliy.
