well, waitaminute. not really . i un .

how lame is it that the only person to ever get switched out of a game is someone who rarely gets to play! not any of the other usual starters, who have played every inning of every game.

and, lets keep in mind, for peple who take this game that seriously, they're not even all that good! i mean, they're not bad, they're just not all stars. they make errors. some even strike out! in slow pitch softball!!

...and i certainly don't care!! its not about doing well or winning or anything. its such a non-competitive atmosphere. the other teams never care.

its just these guys, for whatever reason.

i dunno.

anyway....

jon gets to play at least. and i was told i'd be "awarded" my shot later on. so, hoo boy. at least that has me interested. and, surprisingly nervous a bit.

the innings go by and jon takes his swings and before i know it, its the fifth inning... and i'm up third!
