I don’t see how Trump is winning the public over WB. It’s actually going the other way and support is eroding. Sadly a lot of it is linked to the economy. If he had been able to actually deliver on that I think he could have held on but everyone knows the cost of living has gone up under Trump. His argument these days are affordability is a democratic hoax but voters are very well aware they are paying more. All the gerrymandering being done is largely based on the 2024 election where voters had soured on Biden’s economy. We ended up with something worse. A lifelong fraudster who gained power by pitting us against each other and making promises not kept. He’s barely coherent between his fits of rage and doziness. That’s what this new gop is built on.
