Under Biden, they took federal air marshalls off planes and re-deployed them to the Southern border. There were local police in Florida that were sent to Texas to assist the Texas state border patrol to defend the Texas/Mexico border, when Biden ordered federal border patrol to stand down, and would NOT defend the border.
So even though they were Air Marshall or Florida officers, they had Texas authority given by Texas governor Abbott.
In the case of Minnesota, they have federal auhoritty of DHS wherever they go in the U.S., so who gives a damn what the local Minneapolis police dept, or "tampon" Tim Walz, or mayor Jacob Frey, or state A G Keith Ellison think. ICE agents have FEDERAL auhority, they don't require state authority. If they were Texas or Arizona police officers, then they wouldn't have federal jurisdiction, at least not without Minnesota permission.. But ICE agents are FEDERAL law enforcement officials, so they absolutely do have arrest authority, anywhere in the U.S.
If local officials would not want to give ICE authority in Minnesota, it wouldn't matter, ICE would still have authority under the umbrella of DHS federal authority, that ICE is a sub-department of.
And even though Jacob Frey and Gov "tampon" Tim Walz would not provide city or state law enforcement protection to these ICE agents ( in virtually any other state, local law enforcement would communicate, accompany ICE agents, and back them up), so that situation forced ICE agents to defend themselves in Minneapolis.
And once again, the alleged police officer who wrote this puff-piece "article" cites no alleged law ICE violated, NOTHING.

That agent had every single opportunity to simply take two steps to the right and not be standing directly in front of a vehicle attempting to conduct their legal right to drive away.
Throughout, this guy, if he even actually is or was a law enforcement officer, writes in really silly, overly personal and completely unprofessional language, and cites no specific laws that were 'broken".
In this case, the ICE officer was not standing "directly in front" of Renee Good's vehicle, until she suddenly slammed her SUV in reverse, and then aimed her vehicle right at him. He almost jumped out of he way in time when she drove straight at him. And though from what I could see was not severely hit, Renee Good did glancingly still hit him.
NO ONE would jump into the path of an SUV with the engine revving and coming at him. She caught him off-guard when she backed up, re-positioned and then accellerated. He did not jump into the path, when she backed up and re-positioned her vehicle at him, he was startled and froze for a second or so, then drew his weapon and fired, while almost but not entirely jumping out of the vehicle's path.
"You can see the wheels are turned, [Renee] backed up and turned them to the right, moved forward a bit to leave, couldn't because an agent was standing in front of her, and continued to try to leave by TURNING HER WHEELS TO THE RIGHT and moving forward. He continually chose to stand there and not allow her to legally leave as she had every single right to do.
The officer pulling on her door and banging on her window and swearing at her had ZERO authority to order her out of her vehicle or attempt to make entry into her vehicle. None. A single day of actual training and regard to legal scope of authority and the LAW would've prevented that from happening.

Before she backed up, they were all on the driver side of her, only when she backed up and went from a 45-degree angle to a more perpendicular position to the road was the agent in her path. She AIMED her vehicle at him, to either intimidate, injure or kill him. And the ICE agent defended himself and tried to jump out of the path in time.
"You now have a frightened citizen being blockaded by immigration agents, with another person in her vehicle, who had zero obligation to follow legally invalid orders from that agent, being blocked in and having a fully grown, masked man attempting to make entry into her car. If this were reversed, every single person would immediately feel she had every reasonable expectation to fear for her safety. It doesn't matter if she knew it was ICE because the agents weren't even acting in their scope of authority anyway.

"Whether or not she made the right decision by very CLEARLY, based off of how hard her wheels were turned and how low and to the driver corner windshield that shot was fired, trying to drive to the left of that agent, is IRRELEVANT in the picture as a whole.
That doesn't even make sense. The ICE agent tried to jump out of the way but was still partially hit. In the video, her wheels were clearly spinning on the ice and if she could have gotten traction, she would have rushed at the officer a second sooner than he could jump out of the way, and even with the delay in rushing him, he was still partially hit.
If ICE had anything to hide, they would not have released the ICE agent's body camera footage, and released videos from all the other angles. The guy writing this "article" is just making stuff up.
None of this would have happened if those agents had done even one single thing correctly. Not just correctly, but within their legal scope of authority. Every single moment of that interaction was escalated by untrained, unprofessional, procedurally inept "agents" who not only had zero control of themselves but everything around them. And not because they are helpless, but because their actions that did not fall under their scope of power CAUSED this. Their tempers, lack of training, and knowledge that they can get away with violating their own scope of authority caused this.

This spoiled 37-year-old unemployed woman harassed officers every day for weeks. had no job, apparently a trust fund baby. She has made being an "anti-ICE" harasser/activist her full-time obsession. And not as an "observer" as some in the media have tried to allege, but BOTH HER AND HER LESBIAN "WIFE", AS CAN PLAINLY BE SEEN IN THE VIDEO, are unrelentingly hostile, taunting, sarcastic and disrespectful to the ICE agents. And by all accounts, that's how they were all day, and every day, to ICE agents, for weeks in Minneapolis.
The agents waited 3 minutes for Renee Good to move her vehicle.
When she did not move her car, they walked up to her side window and talked to her for 4 more minutes, asking her to move her car. Then she suddenly slammed her car into reverse, then slammed it in drive and moved forward so fast her tires were spinning in the ice under them, spinning without getting traction to rush the ICE agent as she intended, until she finally got traction and thrust at the officer, who fired, as per his training, a burst of three shots at her, as he attempted to jump out of her car's path.
