The first short FIRESTORM run was in 1978 by Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom, that I think was strangled in the womb by the DC Implosion.

I loved FIRESTORM the second series in 1982 when Conway brought him back, with Pat Broderick drawing it, roughly the first 17 issues.
And then the series had a second great and long run under artist Rafael Kayanan, roughly 19-50.
