My first idea is for the character
RAGMAN. The character could secretly retire, and (unknown to the world) be replaced by a woman who takes over being Ragman, with her gender hidden by her costume.
Except for 5 days a month, when she becomes.... on-the-Ragman.
That's when you
really don't want to fight her.
