There's only one reason Democrats don't want I.D. verification in voting, and that's so they can win elections by cheating.
In EVERY STATE Kamala Harris won, they were states that don't require photo I.D., or even a non-photo I.D. Only two states she won was photo I.D. legally required, but even in those 2 states, it was questionable whether that was even enforced.at the polls (i.e., every state she won was wide open to a rigged elecion.)
And there's absolutely no question at this point that the 2020 election was rigged. Trump was winning in every batleground state until 3 AM on election night 2020, when the rigging began. Biden won with a far larger vote margin than Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. And yet Biden largely didn't even campaign in 2020. And the Biden speech appearances there were, he couldn't draw 50 or 100 people to. Yeah, that's so believable

And most recently, Fulton County in Georgia revealed that there were over 300,000 ballots they counted for Biden that did not have signature verification (and Biden "won" that state as a result by 11,000 votes).
On and on, the evidence of 2020 election fraud continues to pile up. Beyond dispute at this point.
