My PS5 Pro is silent. You probably bought a vacuum cleaner in disguise.

Gaystation 5 Pro(metheus)

I sold my launch day PS5 to a coworker for cheap as a favor and I didn’t think I’d be impressed by the Pro because of all the weak reviews. I don’t know what kind of suck ass tv those reviewers use, but I only have a Sony X90L and I noticed graphic and performance boosts.

Now if only my wife could be impressed by a small boost I’d be in business!

They just launched PSSR 2 and it makes a big difference with supported games. Means you can pretty much run any support games in fidelity mode with ray tracing on and not have a drop in FPS.
Resident Evil Requiem was the first game to use it before the PSSR patch went live and looks and plays amazingly, since then stuff like Crimson Desert, Silent Hill 2 & F and a few others have already taken advantage of it, with stuff like Cyberpunk 2077 & AC Shadows being next on the list.

Nice. I picked up Crimson Desert on launch day but based on reviews decided to hold off until patches roll in. I still need to finish FF7 Rebirth but all those mini games killed my interest in it.

No point in holding off on Crimson Desert, as it was a great game out of the box, but is constantly being updated based on player feedback, not because of bugs etc.
At this rate, if you hold off you will never play it as barely a couple of days go by without them adding new stuff. Already on nearly 200 hours myself.

I’ve been playing it here and there and have about 40 hours into it. I do notice subtle and major changes every time I boot into it so I’m glad it’s constantly being improved. I can’t do the swinging tho. What sort of retard pairs the R3 button with square? That needs remapped immediately.

My biggest complaint with the game that there is just too many functions and not enough buttons on a controller. One button can do many things depending on if you press it quickly, hold it down or use it with another button. Often you go to do one thing and instead do something else. Nothing like accidentally force palming someone then getting arrested.
