“ Based on population data, heterosexuals (straight individuals) are responsible for the vast majority of murders simply because they make up the overwhelming majority of the population. While data shows LGBTQ individuals experience higher rates of violent victimization, studies on perpetrator rates vary.

Key findings regarding homicide and violence by sexual orientation:
Population Scale: Because over 90-95% of the population identifies as heterosexual, the absolute number of violent crimes and murders committed by heterosexuals is significantly higher than those committed by sexual minorities.
Intimate Partner Violence: Studies indicate that women in heterosexual relationships disproportionately suffer from intimate partner violence, including homicide (femicide).
Victimization Rates: Research from the Bureau of Justice Statistics shows gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals have higher rates of violent victimization compared to heterosexuals.
Perpetration Studies: A Dutch study found that men in same-sex relationships had lower odds of committing crimes compared to men in heterosexual relationships. However, some studies have noted that, due to various social factors, rates of domestic violence may be high across all types of relationships.

In summary, while heterosexuals commit more murders in absolute numbers, the data suggests that violent victimization rates are disproportionately higher for LGBTQ individuals. ”

I don't see any sources listed for this. It looks re-posted from some gay-acivist e-mail.

And it looks to slice-and-dice the statistics, to portray gays as victims when they are in fact the predators. Or even portray incidents as anti-gay "hate crimes" that may in fact be motivated by other events, and not because the person was gay.
Just as in Baltimore and Washington DC, and other cities and states, high-level police officers manipulate crime statistics to downplay how severe the crime in their city actually is. In cases where there are several crimes committed, such as burglary, violent assault and rape, they would only list it as a burglary and not include the more severe crimes, to lower the crime statistics for their city, or to downplay the severity of black crime, or disproportionate crime by other minorities they are sympathetic toward and want to portray in a better light than the facts actually present.

Three examples gays would portray as "bigotry" or anti-gay "hate crimes" , two of which I knew some of the people involved:

1) In the early 1980's I knew a 17 year old guy whose jaw was broken at a high school/college party. The guy who broke his jaw was a rich kid who fled the state for several years o avoid poenial prosecution, until the statute of limitaion ran out for assault charges. Years later, I found out he had tried o kiss the other guy, who was heterosexual, offended, and not consenting. Even more years later, I spoke to the father of the kid who was punched, and he said he asked the investigating officer why the other kid punched his son. The officer said "You don't want to know."
Only decades later, he found out his son was gay.
Was this an unprovoked random attack on a gay kid? Or did he provoke the other kid who punched him?

2) G-Man in a previous topic linked sourced new facts about the famous Matthew Sheppard case, where aa gay man was beaten and murdered. It turned out Sheppard and his assailants had previous interaction, where Sheppard had sold drugs to them. Which again raises doubts in even this most famous of cases, of whether his was a "gay bashing", or about something entirely different. But it remains a gospel truth cited example to gays of a senseless attack on a gay man, ignoring that completely different reasons could have motivated the attack.

3) I knew a lawyer who discussed a case with me that she successfully prosecuted against the Broward County school system, where they allowed a "gay outreach" group to operate in the schools, that she successfully proved was a barely concealed scheme where adult gay men met and "groomed" teenage boys for sex. While she successfully prosecuted the case and had the groups removed from schools, she expressed frusration that there were many pro-gay lefistts in the Broward County school administration, and that she felt it was just a matter of time until they allowed more gays to come back in Broward schools and re-activate their "outreach"/grooming activities, maybe under a different name.
Again: is this unjustified hostility toward gays, or did their own proven bad actions cause them to be removed from county schools?
