Lothar, have you been keeping it warm? Because we have talked about this, you and I. Unless you change your ways, I am not giving you back your missing vowel.

The last time I was here was a bit before Trump was reelected. In the meantime, I've been to London three times, San Diego once (what a nice city!) and I recently changed jobs. Oh, and I took up trapeze. Quite seriously. I've had a dog die which was sad, my 97 year old grandmother checked out a few weeks ago, and I think you guys know the story about my hitherto unknown half-brother who popped up after my dad passed away.

Neilencio and I speak at least once a week. I had an email exchange with Mxy last week and asked him if he wrote The Kryptonite Spectrum, which was brilliant Silver Age goofiness, but he denies it. I see Rob irregularly on LinkedIn. Watsonwil I see occasionally on Instagram.

That's it. See you in two years.

Actually, no, I'll check in more regularly I think.

Mxy wants to distance himself from The Kryptonite Spectrum, because the editors cut out the part where rainbow kryptonite made Superman like Hulk Hogan and Nintendo.

I've had my eyes on that chair for awhile now. Rob says i can't have it.

So you got a new job. Are you a full time trapeze artist now?

Sadly no, I'll keep it up, though, until I start to really fall apart instead of just fall apart in little bits. Still lawyering but I think this is my last job if I retire at 65 as planned (which is nine years away so still plenty of time with my neck in the yoke).

How are you?

Ah, given our collective interests, I should mention that my current pet project is to build the Silver Age JSA in Lego minifigs. It has taken about six years, but so far I have The Spectre, Hourman, Dr Fate, Huntress, GL, Johnny Thunder, the Star Spangle Kid, Wonder Woman, The Flash, The Sandman (gas mask version), The Atom, and Black Canary, and en route in the mail I have Power Girl, Hawkman, and Starman. There is a guy in the UK who is selling a Dr Mid-Nite but he won't deliver to Australia. frown I don't know how I will ever find a Wildcat or a Thunderbolt. There is a guy on eBay selling a Golden Age Mr Terrific but he wants too much money for it. Very recently I just missed out on Golden Age Robin in an eBay auction. I feel nonetheless like my project is coming to a conclusion. No Golden Age Batman because he is dead (same could be said for Mr Terrific I guess), and I'll pick up a Golden Age Superman st some stage too. Anyone know how I can post a picture of it here without needing a URL? I've got a brown table in the middle of them a la All-Star Comics #4 or whichever it was.

Hey, Dave!

I know we don't exactly talk on Instagram, but I've enjoyed your trapeze posts and am happy you and your family are well.

Hope to see a voice of reason around these parts a little more often.

smile Thanks mate - that's ok, IG isn't really much of a place to have a chat. Message boards might be dated technology but they seem to much more friendly.

Lego Minifigs? Is that new project started on your own or you just got roped into it by one of your kids?

I wish we could just post pictures, but I think hosting on other sites is the only way still.

Rob needs to add picture upload functionality so I can regal all of you with my Super Mario figure collection.

Wait, how does Wonder Boy do it with all of the naughty girl pics he posts on the women section. Does he have upload privileges?

No, I just get them from other sites, and bring 'em here.

One of the great losses from past board crashes is when we lost all the photos that Jason Perkins left us. They lasted a good 20 years up till then, I wish there was a way to revive them.
