"“Israel is fighting Hezbollah too long, and too many people are being killed,” he said. “You don’t have to knock down an apartment house every time you’re looking for somebody. Because there are a lot of people in those apartment houses, and they’re not all Hezbollah.” ** Finally, Mr President, we agree on something! ** "Trump hosted Sharaa at the White House last year, and on Tuesday said he was “very good with Hezbollah, [he] does not like them”. “He’s very capable, and he’s been very good for me, he’s protected everything that I’ve asked for. And if Israel can’t do the job without killing everyone else, he’ll do the job – Syria will do the job.” ** Oh. That was unexpected. He wants out. He doesn't have the heart for it. Look at the "art of the deal" he put together with Iran. It is laughably bad. He's folding and he's happy to throw Bibi under the bus if it allows him to do that.

I don't think Trump disagreeing on a minor point of how Israel conducts its war against Hezbollah in Lebanon is "turning on Netanyahu".
Trump is just saying to be more careful about taking out Hezbollah military targets, without also killing uninvolved civilians.
But I would argue with Trump, that Hamas, Hezbollah, and Fatah all deliberately surround their missiles and other military bases with civilians, such as hospitals or schools, to make it difficult for Israel to NOT harm civilians.
I recall when Israel about 20 years ago, after enduring missile attacks from Gaza for years, resolved to take out those missile bases in Gaza. But Hamas deliberately puts them in apartment buildings, hospitals, and schools. I was very impressed with how Israel handled this. They had the phone numbers for every single apartment in the building, and called every one, and said to each "There are Hamas missiles launched from your building, we are going to bomb it to the ground, you have five minutes to leave the building."
So with enough knowledge and preparation, Israel could accomodate what Trump is saying.
But the problem is, many of the "innocent" civilians are actually Hezbollah fighters or supporters. We saw that after the October 7th attacks, that many so called Gaza "civilians" were actually Hamas participants caugh on video, gleefully killing Israeli civilians. Some of those slaughtering Israelis were and are actually UNRWA relief workers.
Further, there have been many cases in multiple wars with Israel, where Red Crescent (islamic Red Cross) ambulances were secretly used to bring weapons and ammunition to Hamas and Hezbollah fighters. So it is very difficult to separate militants from civilians in their war with Israel.

Israel attacks Trump! And then Vance attacks Israel!: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-06...banon-strikes-and-donald-trump/106816852 "My message to them would be twofold. Number one: Donald J Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time," Mr Vance said.
"If I were in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have anywhere left in the entire world." He said he would also remind those cabinet members that two-thirds of the defensive weapons that have protected Israel "have been built by American hands and paid for by American tax dollars".
The United States provides Israel with roughly $US4 billion ($5.7b) in military assistance a year, but the two countries are negotiating a new aid agreement.
"The problem for Israel is not Donald J Trump and anybody in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is the president of the United States needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in," Mr Vance said.** And then Fox attacks Trump!: https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5934000-trump-iran-deal-mou/ "Fox News host Mark Levin on Saturday lashed out at the Trump administration over its tentative agreement to end the Iran conflict and hold talks to determine the future of Iran’s nuclear program.
The “Life, Liberty & Levin” host started his 17-minute monologue speaking directly to officials “in and out of the administration” and demanded that they “stop trashing, smearing, bullying the little state of Israel.”
“Stop cozying up to and telling us that the enemy regime in Iran is now more rational, more moderate, and a regime that we can deal with, when just a few months ago, they slaughtered 50,000 people — they’re still hanging young people today,” Levin said. “And if they had a nuclear missile today, they’d fire it into our country, as sure as I am alive.”**

Those are basically click-bait headlines.
Israel ATTACKS Trump ! Vance ATTACKS Irsrael !
Those are RKMB-variety "I WIN AGAIN" type bravado headlines, that bypasses the nuances of what is happening. Needless to say, I overwhelmingly support Trump's actions as president. And bear in mind : Only in another 14 days will Trump have been in office for 18 months ! What an incredible amount of achievements Trump has stacked up in not even 18 months. Trump negotiated peace in 8 world conflicts, some of which have been bloody wars that went on for decades before Trump intervened. And then the wars in Ukraine and Iran, where Russia and Iran are defeated already, even if they will not admit it.
Trump is negotiating with muslim nations, and wants to be as merciful as possible with Iran and its proxy allies / terror-groups (Hamas, Hezbollah, Fatah, and the Houthis) if hat is possible, bu I believe it is not. For all we know, Trump might be saying publicly he's standing up to Netanyahu, and then secretly be giving Netanyahu the green light to finish off these terror proxies, in full understanding of Israel's need to do so. Such is the nature of of public statements and political negotiations. It is high stakes poker.
If I were Trump, I would say to Netanyahu finish these proxies off, because if they survive, they will just be coming back at Israel ( and the U.S.) with every missile, rocket, and terror-bomb they can make.
And the same with Iran. If they survive in power past the end of Trump's term in January 2029, they will instantly begin manufacturing of WMD's, of the missiles to carry them, and again fund all their proxy groups. That is what Iran's leaders attempted to do repeatedly, even after Trump has wiped ou heir nuclear facilities TWICE in the last year. Iran is untrustworthy, they cannot be negotiated with, they will deceive and rebuild their nukes, every time. Regarding Iran's islamic government and all their proxy groups, I say wipe them out. Because if they are permitted to survive, they will resurge with a vengeance, under a weaker president. For Trump (or Netanyahu, either or both) to let Iran and these proxies survive, simply makes no sense.
So I agree one billion percent with Mark Levin, and I was watching when he said that Sunday night. Iran and its proxies cannot be permitted to survive. And while Trump makes every effort to be fair and negotiate with Iran and is proxy groups, Trump is not naive, he has to know that as well. Finishing them off completely is about 2 months past due.
