That's a Democrat-Bolshevik bumper-sticker propaganda talking point, without any supporting facts to back it up.
As I said, the narrative is that FBI spur of he momen called up 274 "plainclotthes" agents to back up Capitol police.
But Capiol police said
THEY NEVER SAW these 274 "plainclohes" agents on Jan 6th.
So what Capittol police ACTUALLY say,
DOESN'T MATCH the official "plainclothes" narrative. (i.e., the official narrative is a face-saving LIE for the FBI. )

The president said he wanted to know each officer’s identity and what they were doing at the U.S. Capitol.
Those names have never been given, their purpose has never been clarified. And as I said, the entire riot began at the earliest 12:40 PM on January 6th, rioters did not enter the Capitol building until 2:15 PM, and Trump made a video that made everyone leave at 4:10 PM.
It strains credibiliy that in 3 and a half hours at most, that 274 individual FBI "plainclothes" agents could have been phoned, come to the Capitol area, and organized so quickly to take any action. The riot would have been over before they arrived, let alone organized. And NO ONE in the Capitol police is verifying that narrative.
Trump in his quoted remarks is exactly right, that both James Comey and Christopher Wray have a long history of lying to protect themselves and the FBI. And this was a desperate statement by Wray to cover up a lie that was unraveling, an attempt to create a new narrative, to get in front of it. But their narrative does not match the FACTS.
For over 4 years, Wray said there were NO undercover FBI agents at the Capitol on Jan 6th.
Less than a year ago, Wray / FBI finally admitted to 26 agents at the Capitol on Jan 6, 4 of them inside the Capitol. NOT "plainclothes", clearly UNDERCOVER, DISGUISED AS Trump supporters.
Now when journalists Julie Kelly and Miranda Devine were going to expose evidence there were 274 agents , Wray made a false statement to try and take back control of an FBI false narraive that had already blown up in his face.
