Mitch McConnell is not very well liked by Republicans at this point, and really for about 10 years, due to his opposition to Trump, obstructing Trump's legislation, and blocking GOP Senate funding of truly conservative / MAGA Senate candidates, going back to the Tea Party period of 2010-2012.
Most recently, McConnell surprisingly cut off funding for Sen. Ron Johnson's re-election, that should have been an easy re-election, but because Johnson had no help from the GOP who in the last few weeks of the election pulled all Johnson's party funding, Johnson narrowly won by about 0.3%, in spite of Mitch McConnell and John Thune. And I see Johnson as one of the most effective conservative Republican senators. McConnell has been one of the centerpieces of the corrupt establishment / RINO wing of the GOP.
McConnell in addition to doing everything he can to sabotage actual conservative candidates, and anything to spite and obstruct Trump, is simply no longer able to do his job.
He's in the same category as Joe Biden and former Senator Dianne Feinstein
And his wife Elaine Chao appears to have exploited her position as McConnell's wife to enrich the two of them. I also wouldn't be surprised if she were proven to be a Chinese spy, a grifter on a par with Joe and Hunter Biden.
