All the songs listed in your linked article show her music is a time capsule of the 1980's period. Her music was never really my thing, but a pleasant sampling of that era. The big hair, the clothes, the look, the sound, all scream "I was made between 1983-1986."
I didn't know she was Welsh, I always thought she was American, till reading her obituary.
