Comey for example was a life long democrat. The FBI btw is predominantly white male. A voting bloc that tends to skew republican.
Patel is very clear on when the agents were called in. There isn’t any room for spin there. He even criticized Wray for calling agents in to help with the riots. Either he’s lying or Trump is. Patel is a loyalist to Trump so the fact that he’s saying the agents were called in after the riot started means he couldn’t spin it for Trump.
