Thanks for the birthday wishes for our country Dave. I hope you and Clooney are correct. From what I remember with the 2020 election though a key part was a VP not willing to bend to Trump’s demands on not certifying the votes. Pence and all the other republicans that were not willing to help Trump steal an election are all gone now replaced with loyalists. I’m really concerned with Trump trying to do something similar with the midterms. What branch could really stop him? The judicial doesn’t have the power to enforce if the executive doesn’t comply while the gop controlled legislative would just go along with him.
