WB it’s not a crime to be a Democrat. The reflecting pool damage is from Trump awarding a no bid contract to a donor who did a shitty job. The crime here is a corrupt administration that has weaponized its DOJ to actually charge people with crimes despite the lack of evidence. I know it might be confusing for someone that sees the person that trespassed and urged rioters to kill law enforcement on Jan 6 as a victim when they faced legal consequences for their actions. Or the maggots that actually hurt law enforcement that day for their orange pos.
And you know that... how?
Because you're a Capitol police officer who guards these grounds around the Lincoln Memorial?
Because you're in FBI or DOJ, investigating this crime?
No, and no.
WHAT IS YOUR PROOF that a no-bid contract caused the hoses to have a 300 foot gash,
by the weirdest coincidence happening at the exact time this Trump-hating lefist activist dove in the reflecting pool that was just fixed and reopened? A reflecting pool by the way, that Obama spent multiple times as much to fix, but after all that money spent, was never able to fix and re-open as Trump did.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/li...ned-trump-administration-resumes-repairsAccording to court documents, U.S. Park Police responded to a report of damage at the Reflecting Pool on June 9.
Investigators said caulk had been spread over foam sealant that had been cut with a "sharp knife or razor," the newly applied surface coating had been damaged, and approximately 70 fence post caps had been thrown into the pool.
Former U.S. Olympic canoeist David Hearn pleaded not guilty Thursday to damaging the recently renovated Reflecting Pool.
Hearn was indicted last week on a felony destruction of property charge following his arrest on charges related to a June 19 incident at the pool. He has denied damaging the Reflecting Pool, saying he stopped during a bike ride and touched a loose piece of the peeling blue coating "to satisfy my curiosity as a citizen."
At least three other people have also been charged with misdemeanors on allegations they removed pieces of the Reflecting Pool's coating, according to online court records. All three pleaded not guilty during their initial court appearances Wednesday.
That doesn't sound like it "just fell apart, due to low-bid construction."
Hearn freely admits pulling pieces off. He was presumably identified and arrested from camera surveillance when he was there.
Also, to my knowledge the charges are dropped, but currently "without prejudice", meaning Jeanine Pirro can arrest Heard again if sufficient evidence can be found to do so.
That is FAR different than the arrest of 1,500 Trump supporters for January 6th, who were held indefinitely in terrible conditions, without charges, without bail, without EVIDENCE, and often without counsel, CLEARLY done to intimidate tens of millions of other Trump supporters. With absolutely no evidence.
There is the possibility that the subcontractor on the reflecting pool could have contributed to the breakage by doing substandard work. But Trump and Pirro are not keeping him in a federal cell with no evidence, as 1,500 innocent Trump protesters were FOR TWO AND A HALF YEARS, under Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, and Chris Wray.
Trump and Pirro are just keeping that possibility open, if the evidence is found to prosecute Hearn, at least for another 30 days or so.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ing-pool-vandalism-charges-b3035880.htmlHearn was not arrested on a whim or scapegoating by Trump or Pirro, but because a park official gave a witness statement that he saw Hearn tampering with the pool. But after the fact, Pirro concluded that evidence did not exist to pursue a prosecution. And pending any further evidence surfacing, that is the end of it.
