You guys have always hated a free and independent press, enabling Trump to ban entire networks. Remember the huge controversy when Obama wasn’t going to let Fox be at one event? There’s a thread here about it, I believe everyone agreed that was wrong. Now Trump does it to several networks and “conservatives “ are ok with that. You don’t have principles just party loyalty.

Republicans don't "hate a free press", Trump goes and takes interviews from his worst enemies in the media, on every hostile network.
In sharp contrast, Biden hid in a bunker for most of his 4 years, and did very few press conferences.
Likewise, Obama also did far fewer press conferences, far less accessibility to the press, than Trump has.
Republicans don't censor the media, they just answer Democrat false talking points with the actual facts.
In a restricted Oval Office meeting that could not admit the entire White House Press Corps, Trump TEMPORARILY excluded some networks he identified as untrustworhy. But there were plenty of other Trump-hating reporters that CNN and Politico could quote on their network. There was no "ban" on liberal reporting or shut-out of the liberal press.
I think Trump knew in advance that he could not permanently ban CNN and Politico, but made it a front-page story for a few days, to draw national attention to their bad journalism ,and humiliate them.
Conversely, Barack Obama ACTUALLY DID try to shut out Fox News completely from the White House Press corps, and only when other liberal media said they would not participate unless Fox were admitted back in, did Obama relent. And Judicial Watch proved, with Obama White House internal e-mails, that Obama intended to permanently exclude Fox news. When caught, Obama said "hey, we were just kidding...". And Biden went one better and tried to have OAN and Newsmax networks taken completely off of cable television.
And it's a longtime Democrat/Left goal to completely "de-platform" conservative media, and shut out all views that dissent from George Orwell's liberal media narrative. The people who drafted these goals in Soros-funded think tanks, were then hired into the Biden FCC, to actually make it happen.
So who "hates" a free press and the First Amendment? Clearly, the Democrat-Bolshevik party. FACT.
No one knew about the masked shooter-assassin's real story until federal investigators unravelled it, and detailed it in their legal prosecution document (as I already said, what? 5 times now? )

The Ferguson Missouri shooting (the media again lied, and portrayed it as a racist shooting, when even Eric Holder's DOJ finally proved the evidence did not support that narrative.)
The Trayvon Martin shooting. (the media again portrayed George Zimmerman as a "right wing" white racist, but he turned out to be a hispanic/black/Jewish immigrant from Ecuador, and a registered Democrat who voted for Obama. )
The Aurora, Colorado movie theatre shooter, falsely reported by the news media to be a Tea Party member, but turned out o be a Leftist/Democrat.
I could go on, there are countless other examples, of George Orwell's liberal media consistently and often deliberately getting the story wrong, to essentially campaign for the Democrats with a deliberate false narrative.
So gee, why didn't I initially believe the media's reporting that his guy was a right-winger?
The facts of this case were not clear, until U.S. attorneys filed their case. PERIOD. The media are proven liars, and not trustworthy.

Regarding Talarico, I never saw any legitimate news story that corroborated Talarico was in a mental care facility, I ALWAYS regarded that as speculation and Republican pundits just talking trash about it, without it ever being proven that I ever saw, beyond speculation. So just more of your "influencer" B.S., without any credibiliy anywhere that proved it was true, even to a conservative Republican like me.
