Uh, so yeah...I have a date tonight. With the same guy I met for a couple of beers last Saturday. Who is the same guy who was my "official date" for New Year's Eve. And yes, this same guy was also my roomie for the after NYE recovery hotel room.
Last Saturday: just talking and a couple beers with a very, very nice "Good Night" hug when he left (I ran into some friends there so I hung around longer).
New Year's Eve: We hung out for most of the day before we joined everyone for dinner before the party. Was a very gracious date and paid my way the whole night, danced with me, kept me company and even got a quick kiss at Midnight. Not to mention another quick kiss "good night."
New Year's Day: Good time (with him and a bunch of our friends) and another Goodbye hug..and I think I chickened out and pulled away from the hug too soon. I might have gotten another, little kiss. Ehh, who knows.
Jan. 2: Talked for 'bout an hour & flirted like mad.
Jan. 3: Talked for 'bout an hour & flirted like mad...and made plans to meet up later tonight and shoot some pool.
SO....all you busy (male) bodies...what the hell do you make of this!?! What's between the lines here?

Don't worry so much, B. Just have if fun. If he likes the you thats having a blast and you recipricate then it'll work itself. See, I don't work that fast. I let myself fester into a woman's heart like a disease before I let my feelings known. Since I don't know the guy or witnessed his work directly, my spidey-senses may be off by a lot. But I'd say he wants to know you some, then get some, and then know you some more.

What do you mean "Don't worry so much?" It's an automatic given where women are concerned.
And getting to know him is on my list of "wants" at the moment. As for meaningful, that's a little hard to say right now. It's still a relatively new friendship (we met in mid-October) and we've hung out with mutual friends before the events I described above.
Time will tell...but like I said...it's always nice to get the male perspective on things like this. And...I have another 90 minutes before I need to leave here and go shoot some pool.

Yes, you read that right. He's divorced and has two kids. Doesn't bother me.

I don't know the guy so don't take this for gospel but............As a shy guy myself, I have to say I like a woman who is aggressive......makes the first move ya know.........so if hes shy and reserved maybe you should be "forward"

Jan. 4: Met for drinks and some pool....5 hours worth. Shot pool for about 2.5 hours. Joked around, drank and had a good time. Then, after he kicked my ass in that ("So, are you done yet? Do you surrender?") we gave up our table and just sat in the corner (so we could actually hear each other) and talked and joked around some more. THEN...the last hour or so...touchey feely time! Let's just say that he found 1 major tickle zone (my sides) and then couldn't leave it alone....and his well, I know where it is...but it's not as effective through a shirt. ![[wink]](images/icons/wink.gif) Oh, and he has nice hands too...nice and male. Always a good thing. Anyway. We closed the place and chatted for a bit in the cold and finally said "good night" and I got another fantastic hug (I like reaching up to tall guys), a good wiff of his neck (very yummy) and another little kiss. Yay me. :) Okay, now I need to shower and get into some regular clothes.

Bianca...I've come to learn that usually a persons instincts are right on target. People just tend to second guess themselves. I'm more guilty than anyone else of that. I'll sit there and think, "Is he flirting, am I just seeing what I want to see? What did he mean by that? Is he trying to tell me something?". It usually turns out that if I just waste time worrying, when my first instinct was right. Just go with your gut.
