Sheesh, a girl can't take her time and update at her own speed? [nyah hah]

But seriously. Said she was going to call Pat and see if they could go out tomorrow to something called...Gameworks. I suggested going to Detroit, but she was like blah, blah, blah, nothing happens there...

It's true. For as big a city as Detroit it, there isn't much going on down there (entertainment wise) unless you have tickets to something (sports, concert, musical, etc.) or you want to hit one of the three casinos. I'm not big on casinos and truthfully, that's not a "date" location.

But as long as there are no pool halls involved... Just thought that the third date was where you showed what your interests were. I mean, there aren't any rules... but the first few times, you hang out and get to know each other on neutral but familiar comfortable territory, than you can say "Let's do something different." Just to show what kind of person you are.

Hey, I got the impression that there were "no rules" when it comes to dating...especially these days. And yet you're telling me, that Date #3 is where you lay all your cards on the table? Hmm, I don't think so Sha...

And, the "let's do something different" is why I thought about Gameworks as possibly being fun. There's food (if we want it), drinks everywhere, and video games. What's not fun and different about that? Only down side...it's not cheap.

Comic conventions are not a date thing, but maybe going to some kind of festival (not Renaissance, but county thing, one of those "upcoming event kind of things")... means spontaneity. Enjoy and experiencing things you don't normally do.

True, but also remember the weather isn't very accomodating for "outside festivals" at this time of year. The ONLY thing going on outside is an Ice Show about 90 minutes away...and yes, it's outside. And...it hasn't been above freezing for about three weeks (it's been in the 20's and high teens for the past three weeks). It's fuckin' cold outside!

So, if it's all the same to you, I'd rather stay indoors until I can breathe outside without every inch of exposed skin turning into an ice cube in less than 30 seconds.
