Hawkman is the "Winged Detective", Robbie! Much like The Bat-Man he utilizes his deductive and reasoning skills. Having the Thanagarian device that put all earthly information in his head didn't hurt either! Kudos to whoever can come up with the correct spelling of this device! Asabasacons or something or another!
Hawkman utilized different weapons from different eras in Earth's history or maybe a weapon from another world when he went out to fight crime!
The science fiction angle was always well played also. The Adam Strange teamups were always enjoyable!
Hawkman was very much into archaeology! Lots of story fodder there! Not to mention the reincarnation angle!
Hawkman and Hawkgirl have always had a very special romamantic thing for one another! One of the best in comics!
Drawing Hawkman brings out the best in an artist!
