How come when the Flash (or any speedster) is shown fighting with a team, they always show him charging into battle at super-speed, but at the same time as everybody else? Does he sit around the JLA headquarters waiting for everybody else to get there before he decides to leave? George Perez always used to show him in the Teen Titans running right alongside Robin, but if he left at the same time, wouldn't he have already been there and mopped everything up before the Titans had a chance to get out the front door?

Maybe he just jogs there to keep up with his mates and preserve his energy for the fight?
