Kids like what kids like, nobody told me that Transformers sucked or Ninja Turtles sucked when I was little so I'm not gonna say Pokemon sucks or Harry Potter sucks to kids today.
the format is similar, but certainly not the same. different menu structure, different features and abilities, decidedly less security (harder on the gobs, or those interested in a strictly clean and comic-related format).
not to mention the fact that, as far as i know, everyone would have to start from scratch, and reregister.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! It took me over two years just to break 1000 posts on those damn boards.
its still not a definite, mind you. but id wager a "likely."
as for the current member database... im currently researching ways to carry things over -- yeah, its not my job to do that, thats much more the techy end of things, but... im the one that'll havta receive 4-500 emails an hour from angry people that lost their post totals! conio!
Rob, believe it or not, we all appreciate the good job you do moderating the DCMBs (even the whiny jobbers on the Authority board), and I for one am grateful you have your own cross-topical forums as well (with Hot Babe of the Week, among other exciting features!) Thanks a lot, man.
if you think the authority boards are fun, you should get a taste of the anti-gay conspiracy frenzy on the wonder woman boards, which despite a handful of excellent folks generally tend to lean toward anything but the topic at hand.
rob does a bloody good job, and it's a pity he has to waste time to pop in and remind them they are on the dc ww boards and not elsewhere. oh, they can be quite a bunch at times. i've never seen such posturing.
this forum is excellent, and i much prefer it over the aforementioned shallow waters, no offense to the good parties there. i almost can't believe rob is 23. pretty impressive, if you ask me.

that's exactly how i feel about the ww boards. i met a few nice people there, but on the whole it's time wasted.

the odcut forums used to be the toughest (with a congradulatory nod to the second place gl forum).
but now, supergirl, jsa, jla, ww, authority... there's a whole new breed of super-posters out there! and, unfortunately, for every 1000 good posters, there's one or two "fuckwits" that screw everything up.
nature boys (if you believe in such things) and i had many a glorious battle, probably noted in most golden or silver age DCMB trade paper backs. since then, we've mended our ways and formed new alliances... but each of us keeps constant guard, for you never know when the tides will turn once more!

yipee!!! okay, now what exactly shall this entail? perhaps some of the more lucid posters shall make the migration here. that would be quite nice, actually.

As a subject the internet is on the downwards spiral of popularity...the fad is over and all that are left are cobwebs...I know I've caused more than my share of mayhem and general criminal activity but god those boards are boring!
