....yes... my... my yacht... ... yes...

...

so, anywho...

aol doesnt really want to have something with less security -- they just want something with more ownership.

the dcmbs are currently running on a program built by infopop (the same company that built the program my message boards use).

aol doesnt like anything it doesnt own, so they made their own message boards (which are modeled after infopop's but are different enough to safely remove all copyrights).

harry potter's board was really a test run for the WB-created forums.

Rob banned us on purpose just so we'd all sign up on his boards! Fiendishly clever he is!

I think I've been to the WW boards maybe twice. I've apparently missed multiple opprotunitys at mayhem. <sigh> The Diana Prince/ I-Ching era was attacked on the WW boards? I'm really surprized there's enough posters familiar with that era to create a contoversy! I read it on the first run way back when (late sixties/early seventies?) and I was lukewarm on it. Someone was apparently pushing the envelope on a title that had remained brain dead for way too long. "Oh, Steve! I can't marry you until all crime is wiped from the face of the earth! Oh, Steve! Touch me there...again and again! Oh, Steve! If you call me angel one more time I'm ripping your tounge out of your mouth!" Of course, I liked giant egg-headed villains on my Wonder Woman covers...
