Ok, I know what you're thinking.
But this was good!
I expected absolutely nothing from this book, nothing at all, at I was very pleasantly suprised to see what the writer did with the characters.
Alex Ross may have had a hand in this, because this was really impressive, the art was SUPERB, matching the anime in every aspect, and the characters were modernized, less cliche, and more mature, they felt evolved, as did the situation.
I'll definitely be picking this book up.
Oh, and I got the Ross cover(of course), though I actually thought about going back and buying the other 4 after reading it.
