And, in answer to your question, Dave - personally, I think Hawkman is a decent read at best. There's just too much continuity and other things at work for me to really get into it. It's more for die-hard fans of the character, like the friend of mine who actually picks up the book. It's also got Atom as a regular guest star, which makes me doubt very much that you'd like it.

Another friend started picking up Lucifer recently (the latest arc and the first TPB) and I've been reading that. Very good stuff. I like the stories and the characterization is just phenomenal!
